After your decision to make a major investment in fun, good health, and entertainment for your family and friends, your backyard, as you know it today, is going to undergo a major facelift.  Initially, as the back-hoe rolls into your yard, you will feel elated.  The next emotion you will experience will be shock at the tremendous mess in your backyard.  As your pool begins to take form, you will become more and more impatient for the day you can finally swim.  Some people compare this experience to pregnancy.  The birthday for your pool, however, does not take nearly as long to arrive.  Please be patient, for just as in pregnancy, the results are worth the effort.

The following steps are necessary to arrive at your beautiful Classic Reflections custom pool:

  • Initial consultation with designer

  • Selection of design and features     

  • Structural Engineering (if necessary)

  • Terms of agreement

  • Loan processing, (if necessary)

  • Obtain approvals from utility companies

  • Obtain permission from homeowners association (by owner if necessary)

  • Obtain permits from city

  • Excavation

  • Helical anchors or concrete piers (if necessary)

  • Steel

  • Short stub plumbing

  • Gunite

  • Main plumbing and equipment

  • Tile

  • Coping and retainer walls

  • Electrical

  • Gas line and p-trap

  • Decks

  • Plaster or Durazzo

  • Start-up and Pool School

  • Deck-O-Seal and Patterned Concrete sealing    

As you can see, there are many parts to the pool puzzle.  Each city requires certain inspections throughout and we schedule these as well.  Interspersed between phases of construction are required building inspections and scheduled clean-ups.
